PARISH WELCOMES NEW PRIEST IN CHARGE

The people of St. David’s Episcopal Church, 91 Kinnelon Road, are proud to welcome The Rev. Jon M. Richardson as their new priest in charge.

A native of Louisiana, he  was ordained in the Episcopal Diocese of Newark, and has served in parishes in Morris and Hudson counties in New Jersey , as well as in Philadelphia and New York.  He is an active leader in advocacy and justice-seeking ministries in the Episcopal Church and around the world, particularly in the area of LGBTQ rights. He has also worked to bridge differences between Episcopalians in the U.S. and Anglicans in Africa. Rev. Richardson states  he is “passionate about outreach and justice ministries in local parish ministries, and believes that we come to know God best by deeply engaging with and caring for one another.”

Rev. Richardson began his ministry in Kinnelon with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist on Sunday, Feb. 11th 2018.
