to the St. D avidís website. We are delighted that you found us here where we can
tell you about whom and what we are as an Episcopal congregation. You will find
a variety of ways we express our faith in God and how we return that faith in
love to all people. Of course, the best way to find out about us is to join us
in worship and ministry as we strive to follow Jesus by welcoming everyone with
outstretched hands and open hearts. We are here for God. We are here for each
other. We are here for you.
David DeSmith, priest/rector.

Visitors are welcome !
Visitors are warmly
welcomed to attend our Sunday worship services. There are two Sunday morning
services offered; an 8:00 AM quiet morning prayer service with Eucharist and a
10:15am Eucharist Service with choir. Church School and child care are offered at
the later service, followed by a coffee hour fellowship. You are invited to
complete the welcome pamphlet in the pew rack and place it in the offering plate
and sign our Guest Book.
All are welcome to
receive Holy Communion. St. Davidís practices the theology of the ďopen TableĒ
since it is our Lord who invites us to meet him here. There are no outcasts.
Our practice is to stand or kneel at the altar rail as able. We cross our palms
to receive the bread and then to sip from or dip the bread into the common
chalice offered by the Eucharistic Minister. A small intinction cup is offered
by the Acolyte only for dipping the bread if you do not prefer the common
chalice. Know that all are welcome, children included. If you wish to only
receive a blessing, simply cross your arms over your chest. If you are unable
to come forward, the Communion will be brought to you.
