.... to the St.
David’s Kinnelon web site, which we hope demonstrates the full diversity of
our people and activities.
Greetings from the rector.
We come in all shapes and sizes
representing different ages, opinions and family configurations.
Regardless of the unique image of God each of us is living into, we
all look to our Creator who gathers us for worship, to Jesus who
transforms our lives and to the Holy Spirit who sends us out into
the world to witness to radical love and reconciliation.
Whether cradle Episcopalians or new to
the church, God keeps proving to us time and time again that we are
God’s people answering the call to worship and mission. So we don’t
concentrate much on money and members, but we do talk and pray
about how God is calling us to share God’s abundance which is all
around us.
St. David’s Church is dedicated to the
name of the patron saint of Wales since the topography here is
similar to that small country in the United Kingdom. At the same
time, we who worship and work and give here also use the name St.
David as a term of endearment. We love this place, and we love to
welcome others to it.
So welcome! May this website be a
resource for you to get to know who we are and what, in God’s name,
we are about.
